Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Pass By: Canal – Tierra del Fuego, Pres. Julio Argentino Roca 136, V9410 Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina
Our specialized guide and driver will meet you at your hotel or at our office (at Roca 136) at the time you prefer for a seven-hour-long service (average). Please let us know your schedule in advance: we recommend to make available at least 6 hours of your time so as to enjoy an excellent, relaxed lunch in the forest, away from crowds.
Stop At: Mirador Del Valle Carbajal, Ushuaia Argentina
This is an optional and quick panoramic stop, that might be best enjoyed on the way back to Ushuaia. From here, you can see where two valleys meet, and the peat marshes covering the bottom of the glacial valleys, as it is usual here in Tierra del Fuego.

Having left the city northbound, and on our way to the lakes district, the Ruta Nacional 3 (National Road №3) goes through glacial valleys, wetlands and rivers surrounded by snowy peaks and the primeval forest. As we carry on, and almost inadvertently, we head slowly uphill: the Andes Range awaits not far away!
Stop At: Mirador de Lagos Escondido y Fagnano, Ushuaia Argentina
Fourty minutes after we left Ushuaia and the glacial valleys behind, we will reach the mountain pass over the Andes Range. At some 450 metres above sea level, we will make a stop for a panoramic view of Lake Escondido, a little wonder that hides at the bottom of a valley. From here, and if we look further North, we will grasp a glimpse of lake Fagnano, that soonwe will reach during the exciting off-road experience through the primitive forest.

As we descend from the Andes Range, and in our way to reach Lake Fagnano -the largest in Tierra del Fuego, we will go along the shore of tiny Lake Escondido, while enjoying its views. At the northern end of Lake Escondido, we will leave the paved road behind to enter the forest, and shortcut towards our destination: the hundred-kilometre-long Lake Fagnano, and the mountains that surround its northern shore.
Stop At: Cami Lake, Tierra del Fuego Province, Argentina
During this exhilarating tour, your expert driver will take your exclusive 4WD vehicle into the forest for an off-road exploration of the area nearby Lake Fagnano. With us, fun and enjoyment do not depend on the weather! This will be a proper 4×4 journey suitable for all travelers: people with reduced mobility or weary travelers that would prefer to rest their legs after long walks in other destinations. You will be able to make many stops and photographs while discovering the secrets behind the Southern Andes. The off-road ride ends just by our wooden cabin in the forest. You have time for a short walk while lunch (or supper) gets ready, or you can just sit around enjoying a nice Patagonian red wine (the famous Malbec). If you chose not to order in advance a vegetarian or vegan meal, lots of prime beef will be sizzling while grilled over the embers! After lunch, we will take just one hour to get back to where we started, or anywhere else in the city, as you prefer.
