Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Ruta Nacional 3, RN3, Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina
After a morning pickup at your hotel, you will take the National Route N3 to begin your incredible journey.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Carbajal Valley, Tierra del Fuego Province, Argentina
If the weather permits, you’ll make a quick stop at “Carbajal Valley Lookout Point”. In this viewpoint, you will make a descent of the vehicle to admire the beautiful landscapes.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Tierra Mayor, Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego Province, Argentina
Soon after you will stop for approximately 30 minutes at “Tierra Mayor Winter Centre” to use its facilities.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Mirador de Lagos Escondido y Fagnano, Ushuaia Argentina
As you continue to follow Route N3 you will cross the Fuegian Mountain Range through the Garibaldi Path, a panoramic viewpoint that will allow you to have a first look at Lake Escondido & Fagnano.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Lago Fagnano, Tolhuin 9420 Argentina
Continue downhill and leave Route N3 to follow the beaten path of old woodcutter’s footsteps along the forest until you reach Fagnano Lake. The 4x4s vehicles allow us to reach places where access would be impossible otherwise.
**Includes coffee with cake square on the shore of Lake Fagnano.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Escondido Lake, Tierra del Fuego Province, Argentina
Summer: You will continue your journey to Escondido Lake. Here, you’ll have the option to either take a rest, hike along the shore, or go canoeing in the lake (subject to weather conditions). Then, you will be driven back to the refuge in Tierra Mayor Valley, where you may have some free time to walk around before lunch or visit the Husky dog kennel. After enjoying a traditional Argentinian barbecue, you will return to your hotel in Ushuaia.
Winter: On Winter, after reaching Escondido Lake, instead of canoeing in the waters, you will continue towards the refuge where you will have some free time to walk or try out your sledging downhill skills while a traditional Argentinian Barbecue is being prepared. At the refuge, you can participate in optional (not included) activities such as a snowmobile ride or dog sledging with Huskies. After eating and enjoying the snowy valley from the comfort of the warm refuge, you will return to your hotel in Ushuaia.

Stop At: Ushuaia, Ushuaia, Province of Tierra del Fuego, Patagonia
You will be back in Ushuaia city at approximately 4:30 p.m.
*Canadian canoes for 2 passengers (activity available between October and March).
*Transportation for this tour is in a Toyota Hilux, which seats up to 8 people plus the guide.
*The summer experience usually takes place from October and March, and the winter experience usually takes place from April to September. (IMPORTANT: The season change is subject to snow and weather conditions)
*The itinerary may be subject to change due to weather and road conditions or any other conditions of an operational nature.
