This incredible jump is the result of a break in the mantle of basalt massif of Brasilia. Right where then run the Uruguay River, there was the “crack” of more than 3 km long and 120 km depth that is where today the river falls creating one of the most beautiful landscapes of Misiones.
When the river is low enough, you can appreciate the full extent, countless jumps up to 20 meters high.
