Itinerary

Stop At: Puerto Iguazu, Puerto Iguazu, Province of Misiones, Litoral
When we arrive at La Lorenza we enter a jungle path, abundant in species of plants and birds. Throughout this interpretive walk we invite you to observe some natural processes that make the ecoregion so dynamic and unique. A typical missionary house is the perfect place to get into the local culture and present our national drink: mate. In front of a small fire we elaborate – from the plant and with our own hands – this popular infusion. From the story and the action, we accompany the journey from the plant to the container and we will tell something of its history: the Guarani, the influence of the Jesuits and the production of yerba mate today. We will share the social codes that govern this tradition and its secret importance for Argentines. The visit culminates in our deck that overlooks the imposing Paraná River, with something fresh to drink and snack.
