Finca Decero is the result of the extraordinary vision of its owner, the entrepreneur of Swiss origin, Mr. Thomas Schmidheiny, who discovered in this region of Agrelo, Mendoza the unmatched potential to create a unique and sophisticated winery surrounded by his own vineyards to which which he baptized with the name ‘Remolinos’.

In 2000, the decision was made to start the project “from scratch” (hence its name Decero). Starting with a blank canvas meant the absence of ties and the absolute freedom to make early decisions that were fundamental to create our own path and thus establish an exceptional vineyard and winery project.

Stop At: Bodega Alta Vista, Alzaga 3972, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza 5505 Argentina

The quality of the wine begins in the vineyard and each of our estates is in a privileged place to make great wines. These places are called Terroir, a French term that connotes the influence that the vineyard receives from the ecological system in which it lives. It includes the microclimate –altitude, temperatures, thermal amplitude (difference between day and night), hours of sunshine, humidity and winds-; the composition of the soil, subsoil and its minerals; and the intervention of man in the management of the vineyard. The interaction between all these factors gives the vineyard its own unique characteristics, which make up its taste personality.

Stop At: Bodega Vistalba, Calle R Saenz Pena 3531, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza M5507FTK Argentina

Bodega Vistalba was founded in Mendoza in 2003 by Carlos Pulenta, the third generation of a traditional winery family. He built the winery on a family estate in Vistalba Luján de Cuyo Mendoza and thus began to pour all his experience and passion for making wines into a family project.

The long history of the Pulenta family, its historic vineyards together with modern viticultural techniques, came together in the objective of producing elegant wines, at the height of the great wines of the world.

Today, Paula Pulenta, fourth generation of the Pulenta family, is in charge of the winery and together with a team of professionals they maintain a strong presence in the internal and external market. They export their wines to countries on all continents.

Stop At: Bodega Nieto Senetiner, Guardia Vieja S/N Vistalba, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza Argentina

In our winery, the story that was born in the vineyard continues. A story that combines artisan work, tradition and technology to create unique experiences when it comes to enjoying great wines.

In a framework that respects the historic style of the colony, our wines are made in pools of different sizes, in order to preserve the quality of our grapes. The production and storage of wine in oak barrels are taken care of in every detail, and we also have a special sector, where we make our sparkling wines under the charmat and champenoise methods.
