We begin the tour in the city of Mendoza, where the guide will be waiting for you in the lobby of your hotel to board the minivan and head to discover the world of wine in Luján de Cuyo, in the upper part of the Mendoza Valley, where the Chardonnay, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes thrive at the 3,820-foot (1,000-meter) elevation.

Alta Vista was founded by Count Patrick d’Aulan, heir to more than 250 years of family tradition in the wine industry. The technical team is multidisciplinary and bicultural, whose members have been working together since the beginning of the project. Nominated in the ‘New World Winery of the Year 2016’ category by Wine Enthusiast magazine
At this first stop, the person in charge will be waiting for us to accompany us on a tour that includes the history and architecture of the winery. We will enjoy our first wine tasting of the day in Mendoza as we listen to the wine-making process and some notes on how to taste and appreciate different varieties.

Casa de los Vientos is one of the main wineries and exporters in Argentina and a leader in sustainable initiatives. The company owns 1,657 hectares of vineyards located mainly in the Mendoza regions of Maipú, Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco.

Founded in 1906, Laur was a pioneer not only in the implementation of the olive tree in Mendoza but also in the olive oil industry. In 2020 it was named the 3rd most important olive oil factory in the world and the 1st in Argentina.
Here we will learn a little more about the olive oil production process and the history of the factory, in addition to enjoying a different tasting.

The water of the Andes Mountains not only quenched the thirst of a healthy ambition for progress and freedom, but also allowed the family to settle in this beautiful country, and the growth of a vigorous family tree, which today reaches five generations. They planted vines but they remain erect as faithful witnesses of that challenge. They built vessels with their own hands to enable the miracle of turning grapes into wine.
In addition to learning about the beautiful history of this family, at this last stop we will taste some of their wines while enjoying an excellent 3-course lunch.

After a day visiting 3 wineries and an olive oil factory, we began our return to the City of Mendoza.
