Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in El Calafate
Stop At: El Calafate, El Calafate, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Arrival at the airport in El Calafate and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: El Calafate – El Chaltén
Stop At: El Chalten, El Chalten, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Transfer to El Chaltén, the trekking capital of Argentina.
There we’ll meet our team, which will lead us through the Fitz Roy trail until Poincenot camp. If the sky is not clouded, we will have great views of the Fitz Roy Mount.
We will spend this night in a full camp, with tents and latrine-type toilettes (rural area).

Day 3: Laguna de los Tres
Stop At: Laguna de los Tres, Los Glaciares National Park Argentina
We’ll take advantage of the morning to climb the slope that reaches to “de los tres” lagoon. This lagoon has one of the best views of the Fitz Roy Mount, and the glaciers that surround it.
Return to the camp, and free time to explore around.
Second night at the same campsite.

Day 4: Poincenot – Cerro Torre – El Chaltén
Stop At: Laguna Torre, Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, El Chalten Argentina
We’ll continue our hike along “Madre e Hija” lagoons, and then connect with the trail that leads to Torre lagoon.
This lagoon is at the feet of the Torre hill, a beautiful granite needle with ice on the top.
Return (hiking) to the village of El Chalten, from a different way than before.
Accommodation at the village.

Day 5: El Chaltén
Stop At: El Chalten, El Chalten, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Free day at leisure. You can opt for a full-day trek to Loma del Pliegue Tumbado (another perspective of the Torre and Fitz Roy Mounts – together), or something less demanding such as a scenic excursion to Lago del Desierto.

Day 6: El Chaltén – El Calafate
Stop At: El Calafate, El Calafate, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
At an agreed-upon time, return to El Calafate. Free time for optional activities.

Day 7: Glacier Perito Moreno
Stop At: Perito Moreno Glacier, Los Glaciares National Park Argentina
Full day excursion to the Glacier Perito Moreno. We’ll have time to walk along the balconies of the National Park, and get astonished by the huge ice walls of the glacier.
Optionals: minitrekking on top of the ice, navigation in front of the glacier.

Transfer to the airport in order to board the corresponding flight.
