Day 2: City Tour & Tango Show

You will meet your guide at your downtown located hotel or, if you are staying at outside the pick up area, at a centrally located meeting point.

Pass By: Retiro, Buenos Aires Argentina
Your coach tour of Buenos Aires begins in the Retiro neighborhood. As you sit back and relax in your comfortable seat, you’ll make your way past the city’s top landmarks and through its most popular neighborhoods.

Stop At: Plaza de Mayo, Av. Hipolito Yrigoyen S/N, Buenos Aires Argentina
Head to Plaza de Mayo, the political hub of Buenos Aires and home to Casa Rosada, the official office of the Argentine president. Stop here to take photos of the palatial building, famous for its pink exterior, and then admire more sights in the area, including the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Cabildo (town hall).

Next, make your way to Teatro Colón, a beautiful opera house built between 1889 and 1908.

The theater stands near Plaza de la República, a square on Avenida 9 de Julio where you can see the Obelisco de Buenos Aires (Obelisk of Buenos Aires), a 1936 monument to honor the foundation of the city.

Then drive through the waterfront district of Puerto Madero on your way to the neighborhood of San Telmo.

San Telmo, one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods, known for its well-preserved colonial architecture. See its many attractions, including Dorrego Square, where you should keep your eyes open for spontaneous tango performances – San Telmo is the center of tango in Buenos Aires. If your tour occurs on a Sunday, you’ll see San Telmo’s weekly antiques market.

Stop At: La Boca, La Boca, Buenos Aires, Capital Federal District
Continue to La Boca, Buenos Aires’ most colorful neighborhood, where a European atmosphere has remained strong since the neighborhood was settled by Italian immigrants.

Pass By: Barrio Palermo, Buenos Aires Argentina
Back on your coach, head to one of the city’s largest districts, Palermo, where you’ll drive through Palermo Woods. The city’s largest park, Palermo Woods is home to many attractions, including the Buenos Aires Zoo, Plaza Italia and Galileo Galilei Planetarium.

Finally, arrive in Recoleta, one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the city, with its renowned Recoleta Cemetery (where Eva Peron is interred), elegant shops and open-air cafes.

Your tour ends at Galerias Pacifico, a shopping area, where you can continue your own exploration of Buenos Aires!

Stop At: El Querandi, Peru 302 Capital Federal, Buenos Aires 1067 Argentina
El Querandí is one of the most popular tanguerias in San Telmo neighborhood. Its beautiful decor with a style of the early twentieth century provides back in time to enjoy an amazing spectacle.

7:30-8:30 pm: We’ll get your evening started by picking you up from your hotel in our comfy minibus to head over to the historic barrio of San Telmo: the birthplace of tango.

9 pm: Upon sitting down for dinner, you’ll be presented with a variety of Argentine and international dishes to choose from. You and your group will enjoy a three-course meal accompanied with some wine.

0:15 pm: After dinner, the show begins! You’ll hear some classic tango pieces from the string quartet and see incredible precision and passion among the four onstage dancing couples.
Two singers will tell you about the history of tango and of Buenos Aires itself, as well as singing some beautiful pieces.

11:30 pm: Our evening will come to a close as we drop you back at your hotel for around midnight.

Day 3: Tigre Delta

Pass By: Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Capital Federal District
“Watching the Delta” means appreciating the generosity of nature in this singular place of the world, which could never be invisible to your eyes. You will leave Buenos Aires heading for this natural scenery.

Stop At: San Isidro, San Isidro, Province of Buenos Aires, Central Argentina
We will visit the San Isidro neighbourhood to get to know its history and people before reaching Tigre.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Delta El Tigre, Tigre Argentina
In Tigre, we will have a 40 minutes boat ride along Delta. We will enjoy the beautiful views of the rivers and streams, which also forms a lot of islands. You will see the ex-president Sarmiento´s Museum-House and the local lifestyle and how they manage the floating life: boats used as cars, aquatic taxis, houses design.

Stop At: Tigre, Tigre, Province of Buenos Aires, Central Argentina
At the end of the boat ride, you will be taken to the port to get into the bus and get back to Buenos Aires city. On the way back to Buenos Aires we will pass by the Presidential Residence (Quinta de Olivos).
