El Calafate Trip Overview

Far from mass tourism is the Estancia Nibepo Aike. A place that keeps the essence of the old Patagonian estancias. Dedicated to bovine production with a Hereford cabin and many vestiges of the time of the sheep production boom, it’s an ideal place to enjoy an immersion in the life of an authentic Patagonian estancia.
You’ll be picked up directly from your hotel. Head along Ruta 15, also known as Camino de las Estancias (The Ranch Route), along which you should see some condors, foxes and hares as well as Frías hill in the background.
After entering Los Glaciares national park, we’ll arrive at the ranch.
Our hosts will welcome us with a hot drink (tea, coffee or mate) and pastries.
You’ll then have some time to enjoy the gorgeous views of the Andes mountain range and have a walk around to discover and learn about the history of the ranch.
Set out a guided horse riding tour (1 hour for the half-day option, 3 hours for the full day option), to see some of the most incredible, hidden parts of Patagonia.
Heading over to the gazebo on the ranch, our asado lunch or dinner (according to the option you choose), Patagonian lamb, will be served with the backdrop of the Andes mountains.
