Pass By: El Calafate, El Calafate, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
After pick-up at your hotel in El Calafate, you will go on a scenic drive to Los Glaciares National Park. As you drive bordering the southern shore of ‘Argentine Lake’ and along the Patagonian steppe for 40 km (25 miles), your guide will provide some relevant information about the park which houses the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier. On the way, take some pictures at the ‘Curve of Sighs’, and you will discover the meaning of its name…
Stop At: Perito Moreno Glacier, Los Glaciares National Park Argentina
Upon arrival at Los Glaciares National Park, you will purchase your entrance tickets. This National Park has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981 when its almost 200 glaciers were discovered. Half of the park is occupied by the Patagonian ice field, the second-largest ice field after Antarctica.

Following up, your guide will explain the different walkways of the park so that you can tour them according to your interest. The walkways will allow you to access the viewing balconies that showcase the glacier from different angles. Enjoy this incredible natural show! You will be amazed not only by the impressive glacier but also by the typical tree vegetation of the Andean Patagonian forest. You will go to the main balcony and then walk freely on the walkways until the meeting time agreed with the guide.

For a different perspective of this impressive glacier, you will take a 1-hour boat ride through Rico Branch of Lago Argentino. Watch closely to see slabs of ice detach from the glacier and slide into the surrounding lake. As you sail along the massive glacier wall that rises 240 feet above Argentino lake and in between floating icebergs, your guide will continue to provide information about this natural wonder.

To further add to your experience and once the navigation ends, you will make a stop at this magical lookout point called ‘Velo de Novia’ or ‘Bridal Veil’.
