Stop At: El Calafate, El Calafate, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia

El Calafate Boat Tour to the Glaciers starts with hotel pick up. Depending on the location of the hotel, we will be picked up from 7:00 a.m. onwards. Once the group is assembled in El Calafate, we will head to Los Glaciares National Park.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Los Glaciares National Park, Los Glaciares National Park, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia

After 47 kilometers, we will arrive at the park. With the help of the guide, we will buy the entrance fee to Los Glaciares National Park. We can buy the one-day version as well as the two-day version (in case we want to return the next day).

Once we are inside the park, we will go to the private port La Soledad. The adventure begins! We will embark on a large catamaran that has four outdoor decks to comfortably observe the spectacular scenery of Lake Argentino. In addition, the boat has a VIP area with a private outdoor deck. To enjoy this area, just select this extra when you make your reservation.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Upsala Glacier, El Calafate Argentina

We will encounter the largest ice floes in the park, up to four times bigger than the ship itself! Upsala is the second-largest glacier in South America. The calving is so enormous that for safety reasons the ship will not go within 10 kilometers of it. You will see ice floating in such an intense blue color that it will seem illuminated.

Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Glaciar Seco, Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, Los Glaciares National Park 9405 Argentina

We will continue sailing and we will find the curious hanging glaciers. These are the Heim and Seco glaciers, which are so named because they are hanging from the mountain without touching the water of the lake.

Silence of engines. You will take a quiet walk coordinated by the team of guides. Puesto de las Vacas is an old Patagonian ranch in the heart of the National Park. Here you will find horses, old houses and other creations of the pioneers of Patagonia.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Glaciar Spegazzini, Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, Los Glaciares National Park Argentina

The Speggazzini glacier is impressive wherever you look. The part that overhangs the lake has a height of 130 meters. It is almost twice as high as the Perito Moreno glacier. If the cold makes you hungry, this is your moment: food! Get ready to taste a Patagonian lamb sandwich accompanied by baked vegetables. If you choose the premium room as an extra, you will enjoy a special four-course menu: two starters, main course, and dessert. In both cases, drinks are included during the meal. In the premium room, in addition, you have an open bar during the entire tour.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Canal de los Témpanos, Santa Cruz Province, Argentina

Full belly, happy heart: the navigation continues along the Canal de Los Témpanos until you reach the northern part of the Perito Moreno Glacier. If you choose the extra “Disembark at the Perito Moreno walkways”, you will have an hour and a half to walk along the walkways of the most famous glacier in the park. If you do not choose this option, you will remain on the ship until you reach the port and return. The Perito Moreno is an immense glacier that fascinates its visitors. You will observe the ice cracking and when you least expect it, you will hear an incredible roar in the water.
