El Calafate Trip Overview
Classic Option: When leaving the port of Punta Bandera at 9:00 a.m., we begin to navigate through the North Arm of Lake Argentino to reach the Upsala Channel, we will walk through an ecotone area, and then ascend to the first viewpoint, where we will you will appreciate the valley from Lago Argentino to Lago Pearson. Continuing with the visit of the estancia, you will visit the Costumbrista Museum. There will be a guided walk to the Caterina River, the Ferris wheel, the Chapel and thus tour the center of the estancia.
Discovery Option: After disembarking at Estancia Cristina, each group will be assigned a 4×4 vehicle with a specialized guide-driver. We will begin to ascend the Feruglio cordon, the 9.5 km that will lead us to where the vehicle will be left. this option does not include lunch
Horseback Riding Option: Upon disembarking at Estancia Cristina, the Horseback Riding guide will lead us to the Stables, where he will assign the horse and the necessary equipment to each passenger.

The Perito Moreno glacier is a thick mass of ice located in the Lago Argentino department of the Santa Cruz province, in southwestern Argentina, in the Patagonia region

Stop At: Upsala Glacier, El Calafate Argentina
Start of navigation: North Arm, up to the Upsala channel (if weather conditions allow it, we will be able to see the main front of the Glacier), and finally the Cristina Channel.
We will walk through an ecotone area, a semi-arid area covered by shrubs and grasses, to then gradually ascend to the first viewpoint, where we will appreciate the valley from Lake Argentino to Lake Pearson.
We will continue the walk in constant ascent surrounded by ñires forests until we reach
to the waterfall of the river of dogs.
Continuing with the visit of the ranch, you will visit the Costumbrista Museum, an old shearing shed, where you will be introduced to the history of the Masters family, pioneers of the place, their passage and experience in that area. There will also be a guided walk to the Caterina River, the Ferris wheel, the Chapel and thus tour the center of the estancia.
