Buenos Aires Trip Overview
The walk will take you through the past and present of Buenos Aires starting in the north of the city and touring the neighborhoods of Retiro, Palermo and Recoleta. Continuing towards the center of the city, along the emblematic Avenida 9 de Julio, you can see the Colon Theater and the Obelisk. Then you can see the Plaza de Mayo -site where the birth of the city with its foundation took place in 1580-, the Government House, the Cabildo and the Metropolitan Cathedral. There you can get off at one of the stops and enjoy the place. You will also visit the neighborhood of La Boca where one of the most famous stadiums in the world is located: La Bombonera, home of the Boca Juniors Athletic Club. In the neighborhood of La Boca you can also admire the colorful conventillos, and the more than picturesque Caminito street. This will be the last stop of the walk, also with free time to travel. To end the tour you will visit the modern neighborhood of Puerto Madero
