Our walking tour begins in our office, located right at the heart of the San Telmo neighborhood. This is one of the oldest neighborhoods of Buenos Aires and it has a vibrant tango and arts scene. We’ll begin the tour by heading down to Defensa street, and going south to visit the antiques markets, see the unique architecture and admire the distinctive street lanterns (known locally as ‘faroles’), cobblestones, traditional buildings and vintage decoration.

We will take a bus to La Boca neighborhood, known for the Boca Juniors stadium and the colorful Caminito street. We will be enchanted by street tango dancing and singing performances and learn how tango, soccer and different immigration influences have made Buenos Aires one of the most irresistible cities in the world.

We will pass across the famous stadium of Boca Juniors, one of the most popular football team in Argentina and also known all around the world.

On board another bus we will enjoy the views of the modern skyscrapers of Puerto Madero and the famous “Puente de la Mujer”.

Leaving Puerto Madero, we cross to Plaza de Mayo, the main square of Buenos Aires and the political heart of Argentina.

We will visit the Metropolitan Cathedral and observe the Cabildo, the colonial City Hall, and the Casa Rosada, the seat of the executive power.

After touring the square, we will go to the Obelisk, a symbol of Buenos Aires. Be a part of this incredible metropolis, going through the real experience of the daily life of an Argentine citizen and walk along the lively 9 de Julio avenue, the widest avenue in the world. Historical buildings, monuments and streets will show the changes that the city has undergone since its foundation.

If you choose to visit the Teatro Colón, the tour will end with a guided tour of this spectacular opera house. We’ll go into the Teatro and meet our guide and a small group of other visitors. From here we’ll see the Hall, Main Foyer, Hall of Bustos and the Golden Hall, where you can learn amazing facts about the architecture, stairs, sculptures, ceilings and windows.After 50-minutes visit, the tour will come to an end at the entrance to the Theatre.

If you choose to visit the MALBA, we’ll hop on the bus outside the Theatre and head to the Palermo neighborhood. The Museo de Arte Latinoamericano of Buenos Aires was founded in September of 2001 with the aim of collecting, preserving, studying and showing to the world, The Latin-American art, created between the beginning of 20th Century to the present day.

The museum has around 400 pieces from the most influential, modern and contemporary regional artists. The tour will finish with the entrance to the museum (ticket included), where you’ll have the chance to explore on your own, and also you can take your time in each room and different exhibitions.

You can also choose the tour which includes a visit to both (the Teatro Colón and the MALBA). In this case you will have a guided tour around the Teatro, then head to the MALBA where entrance ticket is provided. The tour will then come to an end, and the guide will leave you to explore the museum on your own.
