Why choose this Buenos Aires tour ?
Visit the Jewish Buenos Aires with a local Jewish historian who field of expertise is on Jewish Argentinian History.
Buenos Aires hosts a Jewish community of 150,000 persons. With this tour you will visit the Jewish area, synagogues, the Jewish Museum, and will learn about the history of Jewish immigration to Argentina, the immigration of the Jewish Holocaust survivors to Argentina, Argentina and the Holocaust, among other subjects.
Although we have a car and a driver available all the time, I recommend having a little walk around the Jewish area, so you get the vibe.
On Saturdays synagogues and the Jewish Museum are closed to visitors, so it’s not possible to access.
On Sundays there is a change in the itinerary because The Jewish Museum and Libertad Synagogue are closed, so we replace it with the ND Ateneo, a beautiful library that was built by Max Glücksman, a Jewish immigrant who brought the cinema to the country.

What makes Buenos Aires Jewish Tour – Private tour a unique experience ?
The Jewish area is our little Brookline. It’s located In the hart of the garment district. In the past, 30% of the Jewish population of Buenos Aires was stablished all over the area. Today it is full of Kosher shops, orthodox congregations where Sephardic Jews as well as Ashkenazi Jews live in harmony with their non Jewish neighbors.
We will see the building of the Jewish Federation on the outside (we don’t get inside) and the mural that was painted on it’s side wall to remember the terrorist attack suffered in 1994.
Uniquely, this museum narrates the stories of the immigrants, our traditions and the Jewish colonies. Commited to transmit what is characteristic of the Jewish people, we present an interactive tour through a permanent collection in constant dialogue with the present aiming to create a link between the exhibition and interpretation.
Admissiont ticket: 10 u$d per person (not included)
The Jewish Museum ticket also gives you access to the synagogue, because the synagogue shares the building with the Jewish Museum, so you only pay one ticket.
The most beautiful synagogue of Buenos Aires, built in 1932. Belongs to CIRA, the first Jewish community of Argentina.
The main park of Buenos Aires, located next to the Pink House, presidential palace. An homage to the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo is located in the center of the park. We will take this opportunity to speak about the Jewish “desaparecidos” in 1976.
Presidential Palace, Evita used it´s balconies to address the people. This is a bonus, as we visit the Cathedral and the Plaza de Mayo and the Pink house
Memorial Park where it was located the former Israeli Embassy that was destroyed with the terrorist attack in 1992.
A memorial to the Holocaust victims is placed inside the main cathedral of Argentina.
